Freshman year, barely knew her. Sophmore year, can't stop talking to her. I mean, we ain't bestie best friends, but she's special enough for a dedication anyways, so I'm writing it.
But who is she?
She's like the first cousin twice removed you always wanted.
She's spunky and fierce and sexy (sounds like Beyonce, huh?).
But she's Shannon.
And I must say that the one thing that I can think of
that would make me write this dedication is...
Thanksgiving.... or at least two days after.
All I know is thanksgiving was THE WORST day I have ever had...
My mom didn't buy food, and I starved on Thanksgiving.
So when I went online, I told Shan, and she was tight.
" If I had known, I would of told you to come get some food over here."
The only other person who said that was a dude I knew from since birth.
AND HE NOT EVEN FAM.
I just thought that it takes certain situations to see who truly nice people are.
They didn't have to offer food
but I guess it's the thought that counts.
But though I don't know much about you,
I know you could be going through a worlds of troubles,
and still manage to come to school with a smile on your face,
and in some cases, keep it there.
Anybody who can do that has my utmost respect,
and that's why this is dedicated to you Shannon.
Happy Birthday ( in 3 and a half hours) !!!!!!
